New Delhi, April 28 (IPLDEKHO.COM) : In a night to remember, 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi delivered a historic performance, becoming the youngest centurion in IPL history and guiding Rajasthan Royals to a thumping 8-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans in Match 47 of the IPL 2025.
Chasing a daunting target of 210 set by Gujarat Titans (209/4 in 20 overs), Rajasthan Royals made light work of the chase, reaching 212/2 in just 15.5 overs. The hero of the night was undoubtedly Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who blazed his way to 101 off just 38 balls, smashing 7 fours and 11 towering sixes at a strike rate of 265.79.
Vaibhav’s fifty came off just 17 deliveries — the fastest half-century of the 2025 season — and he went on to complete his century in a mere 35 balls. This made him the fastest Indian to score a century in IPL history, and the second-fastest overall after Chris Gayle’s legendary 30-ball ton in 2013.

Vaibhav was well-supported by Yashasvi Jaiswal, who remained unbeaten on 64 off 37 balls. Captain Riyan Parag also chipped in with a calm 9* off 7 balls to see the Royals home with ease.
Vaibhav’s innings featured an explosive over in which he hammered 30 runs, leaving the Gujarat Titans’ bowlers shell-shocked. His century came with the Royals at just 10.2 overs, putting him among the fastest to reach a hundred in an IPL innings, behind only Gayle and Gilchrist.
